Night Replaces Light

Within it the dawn held the day’s ultimate truth –
the dancing mysteries of light in its chamber.
Soon it turned into a bright day, crammed with youth.

Morning now is past – does it remember?
In some time not far, its glow will be in danger.

Night, then replaces light; ceaselessly it does rearrange.
Nature never falters in the scheme of constant change.
