Amount of water in the sea
So massive
Was incomprehensible
Oh, so much to drink
But a sip even you can’t try
Cataract falling from hill
With a roar
Was susceptible ,
I thought it was on brink
Of getting ripped, not even a sigh
It’s river, it’s a lake, it’s a pool
Has many forms
It’s convertible
When armour of joy gets a chink
It flows from your eye
Dew on a blade of grass
Or on buds or flowers
Keeps them adorable
Till Sun come and in a blink
It’s not any more spry
A tear drop on a cheek
Moves you to reach
To the vulnerable
It forces you to think
That no one should ever cry
The rain that makes me dance,
Is always delectable
If wasted, becomes jinxed
And makes revelry wry
Let’s save and harvest water, make
Our planet indestructible
Let’s not this nectar shrink
To cause Mother Earth go dry
