Friendless and all alone
Desolate and forlorn
Wandered aimless as a leaf
Detached and wind blown
On the wings of poesy I’d ride
Hovering over horizon
Like a cloud’s clone
Hiding a rainbow inside,
Silver lining fitfully shown
Singing with the breeze I’d glide
Down in unhappy zone
When my heart is woebegone
Pick a paper , pen and pour
All my blues high flown
Gushing with verse I’d stride
Rhythmic steps all along
In the garden of my songs
I forget my grief and loss
When a poem I intone
With the swings and slips I’d slide
Thus my poem When it’s born
Soothes my pains and moans
I see bunch of flowers
Not any bush of thorns
Working as catharsis it’s my pride
Melts heart of stone
Makes people lovelorn
Amongst all genres of art
I am poetry prone
Through it love and peace I’d provide
