हुई  बहुत  दिन  आँख – मिचौनी

बात   यही  थी  निश्चित   होनी

One   era,  of  homelessness, of  gypsy – life

Of   hot   tears,  and    searing   sighs

Has  passed   away

Come,  let’s  cheer  for  the  time

That’s  over

Let  us  dash  the  hopes

Dormant  cravings, latent  wants

Sans  compassion  in  our  hearts

Let’s  rejoice  the  last  struggle  of

Foregone  year

Enough  of   the  hide   and   seek

It  was  inevitable,  although  freak,

So, let’s  make  our  life’s  dictum

To  always  live  in  despair
