Home Of The Brave Voter

By Mark Anthony Rossi

The U.S. 2016 Presidential Election between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump is bound to be considered a political contest of historic proportions — but not for the most obvious reasons — a 40-year political insider versus a billionaire neophyte. A wider analysis reveals a seismic repudiation of established political leadership and their blatantly bias media partners. The voice of the average middle class voter was finally heard after decades of being ignored and taxed to death by politicians whom often gather votes by catering to either the very poor or the very rich — both groups, ironically, who often escape the taxation that follows Utopian programs sent down to the states by the federal government.

The middle-class voter has also finally turned their backs on the manipulative press agencies when it was revealed by WikiLeaks that an enormous percentage of major media journalists were passing information to politicians, fabricating sources, skewing polls and mocking the values of citizens whom do not share cosmopolitan mainstays of abortion, gay marriage and hyper political-correctness. In a land labeled “the home of the free” it’s a sad commentary when the news is crafted by people whom never leave their office, only associate with the like-minded and never visit or attempt to understand the other 75% of the country.

The deep-seated emotions revolving around immigration and border security in an age of terrorism were shelved as supposedly racist. The protest of bad international trade agreements that closed factories and damaged rural economies were wrote off as ignorant farmers whom cling to guns and bibles. And the universal semi-socialized healthcare program aptly titled Obamacare first billed as affordable and flexible became an expensive and restrictive government intervention in nearly all areas of life.

A culture war has been fought for nearly thirty years mostly concerned with basic family values, the local control of education standards, the exploration of native fuel sources, the legal integration of immigrants, and the intelligent use of our vast military force. The election of Donald Trump will promote these values for a generation through Supreme Court appointments, tougher border security, restoration of local educational standards and a more skeptical eye to military adventures. The primary national focus on revitalizing the economy will be a welcome change from a White House that only yesterday believed jobs came from the government tooth fairy and not from expanding the private sector capable of competing with the world-at-large.
