हम  मिले , इसमें  भी  क़ुदरत  का  ही  कोई  राज़   है

या  सिखाना   है  सबक़  या  खुशियों  का  आग़ाज़   है

कुछ  भी  हो  अच्छा- बुरा , किस्मत  का  मेरी  फ़ैसला

हौसला  है,  ज़र्फ़   है,  और   हसरत – ऐ – परवाज़   है

तू   ख़यालों  की   तरह   यूँ   छा  गया  है  ज़हन   में

मेरी   हस्ती    बस   तेरी   आवाज़   ही   आवाज़   है

तुझको  खोने  के  तसव्वुर  से  भी  अब  लगता  है  डर

बिन   तेरे   ये  ज़िन्दगी   जैसे  शिक़स्ता   साज़   है

क्या   करेंगे   जान   कर   तुझसे   जुदाई   का  सबब

Destiny

We met, surely, destiny has some purpose-

Either to teach a lesson or it’s harbinger of joy

Whatever be my fate, whether good or bad

I have courage, vigour and spirit to fly away

Like abstraction, you’ve permeated my mind

My entity is nothing but your voice’s sway

Now, even the idea of losing you terrifies me

Sans you life seems like a broken musical toy

Why should I try to know the cause of our break up
