Tearing through the darkness of night

The golden chariot galloped towards the earth.

The ruddiness in the eastern sky-

With its breath taking golden shawl-

Enveloped the entire earth within its folds!

The chirping birds in the sky,

The animals with their babes frolicking on the earth,

The green trees with their tress swaying with the gentle breeze,

The plants dancing with their motley coloured flowers,

The meandering glistening waters of rivers, seas–

All bathed in a golden hue-

Spread a blanket of happiness over Mother Earth!

Drawing energy from the radiant fireball

There was birth of liveliness all around.

Everything seemed to move along with the chariot,

A precious gift, God bestowed on the earth!

The morning opened the day’s bud of life,

And blooming like a beautiful flower-

It magically transformed the earth into a heavenly land!

A joyous smile hovered on Man’s face-

As if the sun of his life-

A new brightness had found!
